Hairless with characteristic skin folds, the Sphynx is a breed as fascinating as it is unsettling, having appeared in Canada in the 1960s. Its name refers to its unique appearance, reminiscent of cat depictions in ancient Egyptian hieroglyphs. Choose your favorite skin color from Ramses (rosy beige), Isis (calico), or Mau (grey), or go for the complete trio!

🐓 These creations are 3D printed in France, in Sarthe, halfway between the Norman bocage and the Mancelles Alps!

🌱 The material used is PLA: polylactic acid is a bioplastic obtained from sugar or corn starch. It is the most popular plastic in 3D printing: it is moisture resistant, easily recyclable and biodegradable under certain conditions. However, it has the disadvantage of softening from 60°C.

🔧 Created by fused deposition modeling (FDM), the plastic is melted and deposited layer by layer to form a part. This technique gives a unique texture - the print lines - which can be seen up close.

🔌 The electricity used during the manufacturing process mainly comes from low-carbon sources.
